Welcome to Lefkada, the only island in the Ionian Sea that is connected by road with the rest of Greece through a floating bridge of continuous flow and free passage. It is located between Corfu and Kefalonia and very close to the southwest side of Etoloakarnania from which it is separated by a lagoon. Lefkada has wonderful beaches of unparalleled beauty that are popular worldwide.

There is Episkopos of Nikiana, a picturesque seaside settlement.

The green of Skaros mountain and the blue of the Ionian mix together creating a unique atmosphere. The village is located at a distance of about 5 km from the town of Lefkada while it is only 10 km from Nidri.
In Nikiana, as well as along the east side of the island, there are many small windless beaches.

In the center of the village Nikiana there are traditional bakeries, mini markets and shops with local products. Nikiana has a beautiful and windless picturesque harbor, ideal for boats and getaways to nearby islands.
 
Episkopos is an ideal starting point for a tour of the island. In the port of Nidri there are ships that organize daily cruises throughout the island, Ithaca and Kefalonia, as well as a ferry boat to the beautiful Meganisi.

After Nidri you will meet Poros with the sandy beach of Mikros Gialos and the picturesque Sivota that look like with fjord.

Vasiliki, which is the center of South Lefkada, has ferries that run to Kefalonia and Ithaca. To the east, in a fairytale bay, opposite Ithaca is Agiofili beach. On the west coast of the island, the famous beach of Porto Katsiki has at times been voted by international tourist magazines as the most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean.

Egremni, Mikros Gialos, Kathisma are some of the very beautiful western beaches of Lefkada, which are worth visiting. Agios Nikitas is a beautiful fishing village in western Lefkada, which receives thousands of visitors every year. From here you can go to the beautiful beach of Mylos, as well as to the homonymous beach.
